Working with Bristol University MA composition students on their final assignment for the Music for Film & Television course (tutor: William Goodchild). Each of the eight students composed music for a short film sequence taken from Wild Russia - a wildlife series recently broadcast on National Geographic and Animal Planet and scored by William Goodchild. The chamber orchestra consisted of string quintet, wind quintet, harp, piano, trumpet, trombone, timpani & percussion; the leader was Roger Huckle, musical director of the Bristol Ensemble. Sessions took place in the Victoria Rooms, Clifton and the music was recorded by Jonathan Scott.
